SUB FORCE™ 35 – Wideband Cardioid Sensor-Controlled Bass Extension
Multiple SUB FORCE™ 35 enclosures can be flown behind or integrated with ViFORCE™ line array elements to create a compact, high-power bass array with precise horizontal directivity control. Vertical SUB FORCE™ arrays support mechanical splay and delay for adaptive vertical directivity control up to 200 Hz, ensuring perfect time alignment with the main array. Unlike electronically shaped arrays, physically splayed SUB FORCE™ arrays deliver superior stability across the upper operating range.
Two forward-facing 15” high-strength neodymium drivers are supported by a third rear-facing driver, engineered for exceptional efficiency and wide bandwidth. This unique configuration delivers the tight punch and characteristic 15” “kick” while achieving low-frequency extension to 25 Hz.
The Wideband Cardioid™ design incorporates side-firing ports alongside conventional rear porting, enabling the same three-path-length cancellation principle as ViFORCE™. This allows placement directly against walls without compromising output or risking driver damage – a capability unique among cardioid subwoofers.
Each SUB FORCE™ 35 features patented Sensor Control Technology which are velocity sensors that measure diaphragm movement in real time, comparing it against the input signal to dynamically adjust amplifier drive voltage and current. This closed-loop, self-optimising feedback eliminates driver and enclosure distortion, delivering precisely controlled response with unmatched accuracy.
CODA’s patented Dynamic Airflow Cooling (DAC) technology further enhances performance and reliability. Heat is efficiently dissipated from voice coils through the driver chassis into aluminium baffles integrated within the hybrid cabinet structure – enabling sustained high-output performance and unmatched touring flexibility.
