LJKE supplies CODA Audio N-APS system for Secret Sessions at major Belgian festival …

Lokerse Feesten is a ten-day festival of music, food, and community, which takes place in the Belgian city of Lokeren in August. This year saw the fiftieth edition of the event which is now one of the country’s premier festivals, having hosted a who’s-who of international artists of every musical genre. This year’s event saw appearances from The Pet Shop Boys, The Smashing Pumpkins, Sex Pistols, and Iggy Pop, and was attended by more than 100,000 visitors. A newly added feature for 2025 was an intimate stage near the entrance to the main stage which hosted a series of Secret Sessions, a platform for local and emerging artists to shine at this high-profile event.
The small, outdoor Secret Sessions area hosted a wide variety of solo artists and full bands, requiring a compact and versatile, top-quality PA which combined high power with intelligibility, robustness and reliability. Event production supplier LJKE supplied a CODA Audio N-APS system to meet the requirements. LJKE are a small in-demand rental company based in Lokeren with more than twenty years’ experience of supplying a variety of events. For the last fifteen years, as a customer of CODA’s Benelux distributor Viladco, the company has invested in CODA Audio and now possesses an inventory of HOPS, N-APS, and N-RAY. LJKE were one of the first companies to invest in N-RAY when it was launched in 2020, having been one of a select group of global partners who participated in the system’s pre-launch programme.
For the Secret Sessions area, LJKE deployed 3 x N-APS and 2 x SCN-F bass extensions per side as front of house, supplemented by 2 x Cue Four stage monitors. The system was powered by 2 x CODA Audio LINUS14D amplifiers. N-APS is an ultra-compact dual 6.5” 2-way arrayable point source that combines the versatility of a point source with the arrayability of a line array, creating a unique category of reinforcement for small to medium sized venues.
