CODA Audio recently appointed highly respected sound, lighting and stage specialists, Rubicon, as their new distributor for Norway. The impact of this arrangement has been immediate, with Rubicon reporting substantial sales of CODA stock including three ViRAY systems.
As well as acting as a distributor, Rubicon are also a renowned rental company in the region and have themselves purchased CODA systems to cover their extensive and thriving, club, theatre, festival and corporate provision. Norway’s festival season stages very many large scale events and Rubicon is taking CODA’s new AiRAY system out on a number of significant upcoming shows including those by Earth, Wind and Fire and Norway’s own huge international star KYGO.
Petter Norby Founder of Rubicon offered a very upbeat view:
“We had heard about CODA Audio from a number of quarters. There was a buzz about the new AiRAY system and all the messages we were getting said how fantastic the sound quality was. When we heard it for ourselves, we realised that everything was true! Having contacted Paul Ward at CODA Audio, we expressed our desire to place CODA systems at the heart of our rental sector and our meetings led both parties to the conclusion that we would be CODA’s ideal distribution partner in Norway. The technology is cutting edge and supports a perfect audio package. We’re determined to not just put CODA Audio on the map in Norway but to make it number one.”
Paul Ward, Marketing Director of CODA Audio was pleased:
“A real feature of a number of our recent distribution deals is that in the first instance, as with Rubicon, we are approached by top audio companies telling us that they have heard great things about CODA Audio systems. When they experience first-hand the sound quality and then take into account the flexibility and system compatibility on offer, it makes for a win-win position. We’re delighted that we have a renowned and highly committed partner in Rubicon and look forward to seeing them build on a very impressive start as a CODA Audio distributor.”
